Art Competition Details
Entries are open to Australian residents for a national contemporary art prize sponsored by Abbotsleigh and commemorating one of its alumni, Grace Cossington Smith, a pioneer of modernist painting in Australia.
Artists are invited to submit original two dimensional artworks that reflect the theme of Making Connections.
The awards:
$15,000 awarded to the winner (acquisitive).
$2,500 awarded to an early-career artist.
$2,500 awarded to a local artist from Hornsby and Ku-ring-gai area.

• Entries close Saturday 2 September 2023 midnight
• Selected artists listed on website Tuesday 10 October 2023
• Exhibition Saturday 27 January to Saturday 24 February 2024
