WCTA Acquisitive Award
The WCTA is a $10,000 Acquisitive Award. The winning artwork will be selected from the Award Exhibition. The prize is acquisitive and the single winning work will become part of the Wangaratta Art Gallery Collection, owned by the Rural City of Wangaratta. Works by other finalists may be considered for acquisition.
Entries
Artists may submit a maximum of two works. All works submitted must be available for the exhibiton and must have been executed since July 2018. All work must be for sale. A commission of 20% will be retained by the Wangaratta Art Gallery; listed prices on artworks should include this commission. For artworks requiring difficult/suspended or unusual installation methods, the artist is advised to discuss requirements with Gallery staff prior to entering the Award.
