Art Competition Details
The North Sydney Art Prize is a major biennial arts event showcasing some of the best in contemporary art by emerging, mid-career and established artists from across Australia. Selected indoor and outdoor works will be exhibited over 16 days at the iconic Coal Loader in Waverton. Works will be exhibited in the Caretakers Cottage, Artist Studio, Platform, Tunnels 1 & 2, Chambers and across the grounds of the Coal Loader and surrounding parklands.

Entries open: 1 October 2021
Entries close: 30 November 2021
Prizes to the value of $41,000
Exhibition: 14 – 29 May 2022
Venue: The Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability, 2 Balls Head Drive, Waverton
2022 Curatorial Theme: The curatorial theme embraces innovation and encourages artists to consider the overarching principles of the Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability.
