John Villiers Outback Art Prize is open to all Australian citizens and NOT an international art prize. Entrants must reside in Australia to enter the prize. All finalist’s artworks must be for sale. Entries must not have won any other prizes.
Entries must be the original unaided work of the entrant executed within two years prior to the closing date—5pm, Wednesday 8th January, 2025. No wet works accepted. All works must correspond to the theme – Outback: A Sense of Place. NO PHOTOGRAPHY OR DIGITAL mediums accepted. Accepted mediums include: Painting, Drawing, Print Making or Sculpture, Textile.
