The Fleurieu Biennale Art Prize is a non-acquisitive South Australian two and three dimensional art prize open to Australian visual artists, 18 years and over. The winning artwork will receive AU$25,000.
Artists are invited to respond to the theme A Sense of Place by submitting previously un-shown artworks, across multiple platforms and disciplines (with the exclusion of digital media or ephemeral matter), produced after 1st January 2017.
Shortlisted works will be chosen by a selection panel comprising of arts industry professionals. All shortlisted finalists will be invited to submit artworks to be exhibited on the Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia from 16 June – 22 July, 2018. The winning artwork will be selected from finalist exhibitions.
A People’s Choice award of AU$3000 will be awarded at the conclusion of the exhibition to the artwork voted as people’s choice.
