Have you ever made a snap life decision to quit your job with no plans for your career? No idea of what you’ll do next, no online job research…NOTHING!
Michelle Eattell’s debut solo art exhibition “Create Something From Nothing” is a collection of smartphone photographic art created after quitting her full-time job in 2015.
Catalyzed by a fateful decision to steer her life in a more meaningful direction, Eattell’s abstract photography deals with the concept that there is beauty in every moment, even if not obvious at first glance.
Michelle Eattell’s photographic series was developed entirely on a Samsung S6 and handcrafted in Melbourne on stone composite panels with recycled timber.
Eattell was a finalist in the Brunswick Street Gallery Click’17 photographic art prize and has been featured by Linden New Art for the Postcard Art Show.
“Create Something From Nothing” is on display at Nice One café, 15A Union St Brunswick from 7 November until 10 December 2017. Enjoy coffee and art in the yellow brick building next to Jewell Train Station.
