Entry is free. Any professional and amateur photographers of all ages are welcome to enter.
Fine art competition for all ages, any subject, any medium. $5000 first prize, $2000 second prize, $500 Highly Commended ( 2) and People's Choice Award.
Works acquired through the award form part of the Manningham Art Collection and are subsequently displayed in public buildings throughout the municipality, as well as regularly featuring in Manningham Art Gallery exhibitions.
The contest is addressed to professional and amateur artists, graphic designers, painters, photographers, etc. from all over the world.
Works allowed in the art competition are: drawings, paintings, sculptures, photographs, graphics, mix media and video.
There are two categories, including a $35,000 prize-the richest professional art prize for women in Australia.

Paticipation is open to artists of all nationalities, without distinction of age. Only original works can be submitted.
Who can enter: All UK based artists graduated B.A or above since and including 2010, and whose primary medium is painting or drawing, are invited to apply for the Griffin Art Prize 2017 by submitting images of 4 recent works, artists statement and CV.
The artist must have been resident in Australia or New Zealand for the eligibility period:

The 2017 IGA Perth Royal Show has announced the launch of its new art prize, the Perth Royal Art Prize with a substantial prize pool of $23,500, including a First Prize of $20,000.
The competition concludes with an awards evening, where a local artist at each Cliftons location will receive an award of AUD$2,000. Winners will automatically be shortlisted for the coveted Cliftons Art Prize, an award of AUD$10,000.
Entries must represent any aspect of the sport of fly fishing and can be in any media including sculpture, rods, reels, knives, nets, river landscapes, fish paintings, bags - anything.
