Works acquired through the award form part of the Manningham Art Collection and are subsequently displayed in public buildings throughout the municipality, as well as regularly featuring in Manningham Art Gallery exhibitions.

Paticipation is open to artists of all nationalities, without distinction of age. Only original works can be submitted.
Who can enter: All UK based artists graduated B.A or above since and including 2010, and whose primary medium is painting or drawing, are invited to apply for the Griffin Art Prize 2017 by submitting images of 4 recent works, artists statement and CV.
Entries must have been completed within two years prior to the exhibition and not exhibited in any other competition or any Regional Gallery within a 200 km radius of Taree.

Entries must represent any aspect of the sport of fly fishing and can be in any media including sculpture, rods, reels, knives, nets, river landscapes, fish paintings, bags - anything.
